Well, it is officially 2009, and it's time to get this case rolling again, folks!!! As promised, I just sent an inquiry to Flory at CB to find out where we are in the process. Thankfully, she responded right away. Here is the status of our case (I also translated it into English below):

Te deseo un feliz año nuevo con muchas bendiciones de Dios. Hoy es mi primer día en la oficina despues de tomar unos dias de vacaciones y luego iniciar con un retiro con el personal de Casa Bernabé. En la primera semana de diciembre presentamos una nueva copia de todo el expediente de Debora del Juzgado, pues PGN solicitó un nuevo, también fotos de cuando ella ingreso a CB y una correción a su partida de Nacimiento, todo esto ya se presentó, ahora espero un update de la oficina del Licenciado espero muy pronto en cuanto se normalicen las actividades en estas oficinas y te enviare mas información.

Wishing you a happy New Year with many blessings from God. Today is my first day back in the office after some days off and a retreat with the staff of Casa Bernabé. In the second week of December, we submitted a new copy of all of Debora's court documents, as PGN asked for them, as well as photos of when she initially came to live at CB and a correction of her birth certificate. Everything has already been submitted, and now I am waiting for an update from the lawyer, I hope very soon; when everything gets back to normal at work, I will send you more information.
