This time of waiting is definitely character-building, especially when the one question I DON'T know the answer to is the one question everyone keeps asking me: "When is she coming home?"
Right now we adoptive parents are all waiting for information regarding how the new adoption laws will affect our cases, but the timelines are still rather vague. I just got this message today from my adoption contact person in Guatemala:
Dear Families,
I just heard from Close's office and he said that he is head down registering all of your cases with the Central Authority and as soon as that has taken place, he will send me updates on each one of your files and children!!
